How to Measure
- Hats: Measure around the circumference of your head, positioned just above the brow line. Bust: For women, measure around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring the tape measure is level around your back.
- Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, which is typically located just above your hipbone.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your bottom to ensure a comfortable fit through the seat.
- Chest: For men, measure around the fullest part of your chest, extending across the shoulder blades on your back.
- Inside Leg: Measure from the top of the inside of your leg down to your ankle for precise trouser length.
- Length: For garments, measurements are taken from the neckline down to the bottom hem.

Product-Specific Guidance
Luxury Knitwear: Our knitwear is crafted from natural fibres which possess a natural elasticity. If you prefer a more relaxed, oversized aesthetic, we recommend selecting one size larger than your standard measurement. For a more tailored, classic fit, stick to your usual size.
Accessories (Hats & Gloves): When selecting hats, ensure the measurement is taken just above the brow to prevent slipping. For gloves, ensure the measurement allows for enough room to move your fingers freely without the fabric feeling restrictive.
Footwear: For optimal comfort, especially in leather or structured footwear, ensure your foot length measurement is precise. If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up to accommodate thicker socks.
Sizing Tips
- Account for Natural Stretch: Remember that natural fibres like wool and cashmere will flex and adapt to your body shape over time.
- Measure in the Evening: We recommend measuring your feet in the evening, as feet tend to swell slightly throughout the day.
- The Larger Foot Rule: If you have one foot that is slightly larger than the other, always choose the size that accommodates your larger foot.
- Consider the Sock: When purchasing footwear, consider the thickness of the socks you intend to wear with them.
- Width Considerations: For wider ring or band styles, you may find it necessary to choose one size larger to ensure comfort.
- Sizing Up for Boots: When purchasing heavy boots or athletic-style footwear, it is often better to choose the larger size to allow for movement.
- Check the Last: Be aware that different footwear styles use different moulds (lasts), which can affect the overall width and fit.
