Flickini Size Guide
At Flickini, we believe that swimwear should be as unique as the person wearing it. Our brand is built on the philosophy of celebrating individual body shapes, rather than forcing bodies to conform to a single standard. We understand that every curve, every contour, and every silhouette tells a story, and our personalised sizing approach is designed to honour that diversity. Whether you are looking for a high-waisted bikini that accentuates your waist or a one-piece that provides elegant coverage, our mission is to provide a bespoke-feeling fit that empowers you to feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful in your own skin. Our sizing is meticulously curated to ensure that our premium, high-stretch fabrics move with you, providing support where you need it and freedom where you want it.
How to Measure
- Bust Measurement: To find your bust size, wrap a soft, flexible measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest. Ensure the tape is level all the way around your back and sits comfortably against your skin without compressing the tissue. This measurement is vital for our bikini tops and one-piece suits.
- Waist Measurement: Locate your natural waistline—this is typically the narrowest part of your torso, situated just above the navel and below the ribcage. Wrap the tape around this area, keeping it snug but not tight. For high-waisted bottoms, this is your most critical measurement.
- Hip Measurement: Stand with your feet together and wrap the tape around the widest part of your hips and buttocks. It is essential to include the fullest part of your glutes in this measurement to ensure our swimwear bottoms provide the perfect amount of coverage and comfort. Foot Length Measurement: For our footwear collection, place a piece of paper against a flat wall. Stand on the paper with your heel touching the wall. Trace the outline of your foot using a pencil held vertically. Measure the distance from the back of the heel to the tip of your longest toe in centimetres. This ensures the most accurate fit for our summer sandals.

Product-Specific Guidance
Bikini Sets: Because our pieces are personalised, we recommend measuring your bust and hips separately. If you find you are between sizes for the top and the bottom, feel free to mix and match sizes to achieve your ideal Flickini fit. Our fabrics feature high elastane content, allowing for a flexible fit that adapts to your movement.
One-Piece Swimwear: For one-piece styles, the relationship between your bust and hip measurements is key. If you have a longer torso, you may wish to consider sizing up to ensure the suit does not pull downwards at the straps or upwards at the leg openings.
Summer Footwear: Our sandals are designed for a standard fit. If you prefer a more relaxed feel for beach strolls, or if you have a wider foot profile, we recommend selecting one size larger than your standard UK size.
Sizing Tips
- Always measure your feet in the evening; feet tend to swell slightly throughout the day, and measuring later ensures your sandals will remain comfortable all day long.
- When measuring for swimwear, use a soft, flexible tailor's tape. Avoid using metal construction tapes as they can be inaccurate on curved surfaces.
- If you are caught between two sizes in our clothing range, we recommend sizing up. Our premium fabrics are designed to stretch, but a slightly larger size will ensure maximum comfort and prevent over-stretching.
- Ensure you are measuring with minimal clothing. Measuring over heavy layers or bulky winter clothing will result in an incorrectly large size.
- When measuring your hips, ensure you include the fullest part of your glutes to prevent the fabric from riding up while you are in the water.
- Always check both feet before ordering footwear. It is perfectly normal for one foot to be slightly larger than the other; always base your size selection on your larger foot.
- Keep your measuring tape parallel to the floor when measuring your waist and hips to ensure the most accurate circumference reading.
