Paolita Size Guide
Welcome to Paolita, where effortless glamour meets impeccable design. Our swimwear and resort wear are crafted for the modern woman who appreciates luxury and flawless fit. Because our pieces are designed to enhance your natural silhouette, understanding your measurements is key to achieving your perfect Paolita look. We recommend consulting both our size chart and your personal measurements for the most accurate fit.
How to Measure
- The Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring the tape measure is level and comfortable.
- The Waist: Measure around your natural waistline—the narrowest point of your torso, typically just above the navel.
- The Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
- For Swimwear: For the most accurate fit, measure your waist and hips while wearing the type of undergarments you plan to wear with the swimwear.
- For Dresses: If the dress is fitted, measure your bust, waist, and hips. If it is a flowy or wrap style, focus on your natural waist measurement.

Product-Specific Guidance
Bikinis & Swimwear
Paolita swimwear is designed to be supportive and flattering. Because the fit is highly dependent on the body's curves, we advise the following:
- Bust Support: If you are between sizes, consider sizing up for the bust, as the top portion of the bikini is often the most restrictive area.
- Bottoms: Our bottoms are typically designed to hug the hips, so if you prefer a more relaxed fit, check the product description for adjustable waistbands.
- Resizing: Many of our one-pieces feature adjustable straps or internal drawcords to accommodate slight size variations.
Resort Dresses
Our resort dresses are crafted for comfort and movement. These pieces are generally more forgiving than structured garments:
- Fit: If a dress is described as "A-line" or "maxi," it will typically flow from the bust and will not require a precise waist measurement.
- Structured Pieces: If the dress has a defined waistband or corset-style bodice, please refer to the Bust and Waist measurements in the chart above.
- Lining: Our dresses are made with breathable, lightweight fabrics, perfect for tropical climates.
Sizing Tips
- Measure in the Afternoon: Your body measurements can fluctuate throughout the day. For the most accurate reading, measure your bust, waist, and hips in the late afternoon or evening when your body is at its largest.
- Consider Fabric Stretch: Our swimwear and dresses are made from high-quality, stretch-knit materials. If you are unsure, sizing up by one size may provide the necessary comfort and ease of movement.
- The "Sweet Spot" Rule: When choosing between two sizes, always prioritize the size that best accommodates your *smallest* measurement (usually the waist) while ensuring the bust and hips are comfortable.
- Undergarments: For the most accurate swimwear fit, wear minimal or no undergarments when taking your measurements.
- Returns Policy: We offer free returns and exchanges. If you are concerned about fit, we recommend ordering a size you are comfortable with and utilizing our returns service.
- Shoe Fit: Always measure both feet, and if there is any difference, use the measurement of your larger foot to ensure comfort and prevent rubbing.
