Trek PAC Size Guide
Trek PAC cycling apparel is engineered for performance, comfort and style. All garments are designed around an athletic build and follow true sizing, ensuring that whether you're riding road, mountain bike or casual routes, your kit fits well to work well. Trek PAC clothing is measured to actual body circumference rather than product dimensions, giving you confidence in selecting the right size for your frame. Each piece features a defined fit profile—from Pro Fit aerodynamic cuts to semi-fitted and loose MTB styles—so you can choose the silhouette that suits your discipline and riding preference.
How to Measure
For maximum accuracy, take all measurements next to skin while standing upright with feet shoulder-width apart. Use a cloth measuring tape and keep it parallel to the ground. We recommend having someone assist you.
- Chest / Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest under your armpits with your arms relaxed at your sides. Keep the tape parallel to the ground.
- Waist: Measure around your natural waist, which falls at the natural curve of your body—the indentation between your hips and rib cage. The tape should be close to your body but not snug.
- Hips: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks, keeping it parallel to the ground.

Product-Specific Guidance
Road Jerseys
Road jerseys from Trek PAC come in multiple fit profiles to match your riding style. Pro Fit jerseys deliver second-skin aerodynamic performance ideal for racing and high-speed riding. Fitted jerseys provide a streamlined body fit for enhanced performance on longer rides. Semi-fitted styles offer room for movement without compromising aerodynamic benefits. Choose based on your intended use and preference for compression.
Mountain Bike Jerseys & Kits
MTB clothing features semi-fitted and loose cuts that allow for freedom of non-restrictive movement and casual style. These silhouettes work with protective gear and provide comfort during technical riding. The relaxed fit does not compromise performance but prioritises mobility and durability on challenging terrain.
Cycling Shorts & Bibs
Like jerseys, Trek PAC shorts and bibs follow the same sizing standards based on your waist and hip measurements. The fit profiles vary from fitted road designs to semi-fitted MTB cuts. Always measure your natural waist (not where you wear trousers) for the most accurate fit; shorts should sit comfortably without restricting circulation or causing chafing.
Base Layers & Arm Sleeves
Base layers and arm sleeves are sized using the same chart as jerseys. These pieces should fit snugly without bunching. If you are between sizes, consider your layering needs: choose the smaller size for a race-focused setup with minimal bulk, or the larger size if you prefer more freedom or anticipate wearing additional layers underneath.
Sizing Tips
- Always measure your body, not an existing garment. Trek PAC sizing is based on true body circumference, so your measurements—not the fit of an old jersey—should guide your choice.
- If your measurements fall between two sizes, consider your riding discipline and preferred fit. Choose the smaller size for a more aerodynamic, fitted silhouette; choose the larger size for a relaxed, unrestricted fit suitable for MTB or casual touring.
- Pay close attention to the fit profile description on the product page. Pro Fit is race-oriented and very tight; Fitted is performance-focused; Semi-fitted suits most riders; MTB Semi-fitted and Loose cuts are designed for freedom and off-road comfort.
- Waist and hip measurements are equally important to chest size. A jersey that fits your chest but is too tight at the hips will restrict movement and cause discomfort on longer rides.
- Trek PAC garments are designed for athletic builds, so there is no extra fabric. If you prefer a looser, more casual fit, consider sizing up, particularly in road-focused pieces with a Fitted or Pro Fit profile.
- Layer with purpose: if you intend to wear a base layer under a jersey, you may want to size up the jersey slightly to avoid over-compression and bunching at the shoulders and sides.
- Check product reviews and fit feedback from other riders with a similar build to yours. Many Trek PAC customers share detailed fit notes that can help confirm whether a particular size or style runs true or has a particular characteristic.
